Lukhan Tui will make his first Australia start in the deciding Test and Joe Schmidt has made five changes to the Ireland side for the showdown at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.
Tui comes into the Wallabies team at outside flanker, with Caleb Timu dropping out and David Pocock switching to the back of the scrum.
Scrum-half Nick Phipps replaces Will Genia (broken arm) in Sydney, while Ned Hanigan and Joe Powell have been named among the replacements.
Ireland won the second Test at AAMI Park 26-21 last weekend to keep the series alive, but Schmidt has made several alterations to his team.
Jack McGrath and Sean Cronin are preferred to Niall Scannell and Cian Healy in the front row.
Jack Conan gets the nod at number eight, so captain Peter O'Mahony takes the openside flanker role and CJ Stander will shift to blindside.
Bundee Aki will start ahead of Garry Ringrose at 12, with Robbie Henshaw moving to outside centre, and Jacob Stockdale returns at the expense of Andrew Conway - who does not even make the 23.
Kieran Marmion, Ross Byrne and John Ryan have been named on the bench. John Cooney, Joey Carbery, Rob Herring and Andrew Porter have been omitted.
Australia: Israel Folau, Dane Haylett-Petty, Samu Kerevi, Kurtley Beal, Marika Koroibete, Bernard Foley, Nick Phipps; Scott Sio, Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Sekope Kepu, Izack Rodda, Adam Coleman, Lukhan Tui, Michael Hooper (captain), David Pocock.
